Faux marbling is an ancient technique that will add a touch of class to any project. But the skill to create these amazing effects is gradually being lost to time. With this course I aim to share my knowledge and experience in the hope these crafts will live on.
On this course you will learn how recreate the ancient art of faux marbling and will focus on a black & gold, or Portoro, marble effect. You will have unlimited access to the online material for as long as your account remains active, allowing you to practice & perfect the skills before moving on to larger projects.
The step-by-step, easy to follow tutorials are carefully designed and structured for people of all abilities. You will start by learning how to prepare your sample board and mix the different paints and glazes required for this paint effect. You will then build up the faux marble effect layer by layer before learning how to finish and protect your completed work.
The course material has been divided into a series of 5, easy-to-follow video tutorials, plus bonus material, accompanied by numerous professional tips and tricks and comprehensive information sheets. Each video is between 12-25 minutes, and within 2 hours, you will be equipped with all of the information you need to learn this amazing paint effect.
