1 Cancellation of Courses
You may have the right to cancel or request a refund under certain circumstances, in accordance with this policy.

Refunds or cancellations can only be issued if:
-
you have requested it within the fourteen (14) calendar day cooling off period;
-
in the case of subscription-based Courses the cancellation process may take a few days, in order to avoid the next automatic renewal and respective charge the cancellation request should be made at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the expiration of the then-current service period;
-
you have not completed and/or accessed (or attempted to complete and/or access) any Courses, including course content (e.g. videos and downloadable content).

The fourteen (14) calendar day cooling off period for all of South Coast Studio's Courses begins on the day you pay for the Course.

1.1 How to request a refund
To request a refund or cancellation click "Contact" in the menu bar at the top of this page to find out how to contact us, making sure to confirm your e-mail address, full name, the Course you would like to request a refund or cancellation for, and if applicable the order number.

1.2 When and how we issue refunds
When a refund or cancellation request has been received we will first check whether the request lies within the cooling off period and has been requested fourteen (14) days before the start date where applicable. We will also check whether you have completed and/or accessed (or attempted to complete and/or access) any Courses. This will be determined using the usage data we collect and store to monitor the use of restricted content. Each time a User launches, accesses and/or otherwise interacts with restricted content (content that is only accessible to paying members, for example online course videos) the e-mail address associated with that User Account is recorded and stored along with the time and date the content was accessed and/or interacted with, and an identifier confirming which content was accessed and/or interacted with. This data is collected and stored for the sole purpose of issuing refunds where appropriate. For further information about how and why we collect and store data please read the Privacy Policy.
Upon determining that a cancellation or refund is due to you under these Terms, we will issue such refund or cancellation within fourteen (14) days of our confirmation that such refund or cancellation is due to you. If you are entitled to a refund we will refund you via PayPal. Please note, if you are entitled to a full refund, the refund amount may be different than the amount you were originally charged to to change of currency exchange rates or fees you were charged by third parties. If we find that a notice of cancellation or refund has been given in an illegitimate attempt to avoid payment for services actually received and enjoyed, we reserve our right to still charge the User who provided such notice for any South Coast studio services actually received, as permitted by law.

1.3 Chargebacks
If, at any time, we record a decline, chargeback or any other rejection of a charge of any payable Fees on your South Coast Studio account ("Chargeback"), this will be considered as a breach of your payment obligations hereunder, and your use of South Coast Studio services may be automatically disabled or terminated.

In the event a Chargeback is performed, your User Account may be blocked without the option to re-purchase or re-use it, and any data contained in such User Account, including any User Content may be subject to cancellation and capacity loss.

In the case of subscription based services, your use of the South Coast Studio services will not resume until you re-subscribe for any such South Coast Studio subscription based Courses, and pay any applicable Fees in full, including any fees and expenses incurred by South Coast Studio for each Chargeback received.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding a payment made to South Coast Studio, we encourage you to first contact us before filing a Chargeback or reversal of payment, in order to prevent the South Coast Studio services from being cancelled and your User Account being blocked, and to avoid the filing of unwarranted or erroneous Chargeback, which may result in your being liable for its applicable Fees, in addition to re-payment of all the Fees applicable to the South Coast Studio services purchased (and charged-back) by you.

We reserve our right to dispute any Chargeback received, including by providing the relevant credit card company or financial institution with any information and documentation proving that the User responsible for such Chargeback did in fact authorise the transaction and make use of the services rendered thereafter.

1.4 Cancellation by South Coast Studio
Failure to comply with any of the South Coast Studio terms and conditions and/or pay any due Fee shall entitle South Coast Studio to suspend (until full payment is made) or cancel your User Account on all Website Platforms (or certain features thereof).

2 Cancellation of and/or changes to Events
Any changes you, the Client, may want to make to an Event booking must be detailed in writing and will be deemed to take effect from the date of receipt.
If a request for changes to an Event booking is received more than 30 calendar days prior to the Event, Clients may be offered the opportunity to secure attendance on a future equivalent Event (subject to availability) within 12 months of the original Event date. If a request for changes to an Event booking is received less than 30 calendar days and more than 14 calendar days prior to the Event, the opportunity to secure attendance on a future equivalent Event within 12 months of the original Event date may be given at the discretion of South Coast Studio and subject to availability. However, if a request for changes to an Event booking is received 14 calendar days or less prior to the Event, Clients will not be offered an opportunity to secure attendance on a future equivalent Event, their booking will be cancelled and they will not be eligible for a refund.

If the Client has accepted an alternative Event subject to a change or cancellation of the original Event, the Client will no longer be permitted to make further changes to this new booking and will lose the right to a refund or the offer of a future replacement booking.

2.1 Changes requested more than 30 calendar days prior to the Event
If the Client does not accept an offer to transfer attendance and decides to cancel their attendance, or if there is no availability on a future equivalent Event within 12 months of the original Event date, the Client will receive a refund equal to 50% of the ticket price.

2.2 Changes requested less than 30 and more than 14 calendar days prior to the Event
If the Client does not accept an offer to transfer attendance and decides to cancel their attendance, or if there is no availability on a future equivalent Event within 12 months of the original Event date, the Client will not receive any refund.

No refunds will be made for non-attendance.

South Coast Studio reserves the right to alter or cancel Events. Written notification will be sent to Clients with existing bookings with an offer to attend a future equivalent Event within 12 months of the original date. If no alternative date is accepted by the Client within the 12 months period of the original date, you can request a partial refund equal to 50% of the ticket price.

Our fees are based on financial viability, therefore if an appropriate fee level is not attained South Coast Studio may choose to consider additional measures including offering Clients with existing bookings the option to pay extra to allow the Event to run.

Any Public Health Emergency declared by Public Health England, the Chief Medical Officer for England or any law or any action taken by the UK government or UK public authority that directly affects the operation of the Event will be considered as a cancellation in accordance with the above cancellation clauses. However, provided the revised Event date is agreed (subject to availability) and takes place within 12 months of the original Event date, payments received by South Coast Studio from the Client shall form a credit towards the future equivalent Event.
