About Our Studio Workshops
We offer a variety of hands-on, small group workshops, taught by Simon Nobs, a professional decorator, designer and paint effects artist, with 35+ years of experience. Each workshop includes access to tools, equipment, paints and materials* plus unlimited tea/coffee.
To ensure quality tuition time and adequate space in the studio the maximum number of participants attending the group studio workshops are limited to 5 students,
with one-off, group bookings of up to 6 people.

* sample boards and other items are provided for all workshops, however for the painted furniture workshops you have the option of bringing your own small piece of furniture with you to paint.

These workshops are designed for anyone with an interest in learning how to create amazing marble paint effects, used extensively in restoration projects around the world.
Whether you are wanting to build upon the skills you have already developed, or you are just starting out, our workshops will fuel your imagination and be an invaluable source of inspiration.
You will be guided through the different stages used to create professional looking faux marble paint effects, and the use of sealants and varnishes to protect your work.
There will be plenty of time throughout the day, to ask questions and seek advice, from Simon, a qualified interior decorator and paint effects artist with over 35 years experience in all aspects of decorative paint finishes.
